SJL Contracting is a local family business. Owner Steven Lee has many years of experience in roofing and remodeling. In 2000, Steven started working with his dad, Bill Lee, a retired fireman and owner of Bill's Roofing. Later, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kentucky Wesleyan College while playing baseball for the Panthers.
Steven worked in production for five years before purchasing Bill's Roofing. Over the years, Steven's brothers have helped and Bill has come out of retirement to help run estimates and supervision.
Steven enjoys spending time with his daughters, Olivia and Giuliana (Gigi) and his wife, Lauren, who is a Realtor. Occasionally, Steven catches a UK game or two on TV but not as many as he would like.
